An Introduction to Color Therapy

Recognized as a complementary system to many other therapies - stroke and depression therapy to name a few - color therapy has gained recent traction in the medical world. With roots bases in the ancient medicine of the Egyptians, color therapy has to do with both color and light, and works to restore physical and emotions balance within the body. Much like acupuncture, color therapy is used to unblock certain bodily meridians (paths through which energy flows) without the use of painful needles. Just, recently, CNN has reported on the new practice of applying blue light to the back of people’s knees to overcome jet lag.
