You’ve probably read countless headlines on the link between your phone and your health. Not only is it an emotionally suck to be buried in your phone 24/7, recent studies have suggested that those invisible electromagnetic fields (or EMF) that are emitted from you phone and cell towers could be affecting you in a more concrete way.

First discovered by a couple of ninth graders doing a science project, the story of an experiment that proved that water cress seeds would not germinate near wifi routers sparked worldwide interest. Since then, scientists have found that the radiation emitted from cell phones, cell towers, and the like are strong enough to affect the germination of plants around them, begging the question of what they must be doing to humans as well.
